Thursday summary

Today in class, students did their journal writing based on an article discussing the rising cost of medications and how those who are uninsured or denied coverage can control their illness. After, we continued our discussion on the history of medicine, moving into the 20th century and differences between then and now. Students were then given an outline to follow to develop a power point presentation to present to the class on Tuesday regarding specific time periods they were assigned and how medicine was handled during that time.
