For this final day of Anatomy & Physiology class before the holiday break we did a very short Power Point about reflexes and reflex arcs in the nervous system. Then we did fun and informative lab where the students tested and recorded observations and conclusions about observed reflexes on one another. Most finished but a few still need to complete this lab when we return in January. The worksheet for it was on the Engrade calendar. Students were also reminded of the work needed to be completed before the holiday break.
We finished the day, month, and calendar year with our Anatomy talent show. What a strangely anatomically talented class we have! Mr. H brought some cookies to celebrate the holiday, and Emily Zakrewski, one of our fine graduates from last year, currently enrolled in the RVCC nursing program shared her experiences with our class. We managed all of this, barely, without Mrs. Pike, and we are all wishing her a speedy recovery and return in a few weeks.
