Welcome back, Mrs. Pike!! Now it feels like a new year, so forward we go. A few students made up their midterm exams today, so they will be graded and returned on Wednesday. Today we did a brief Power Point on specialized nerve cells within that body system. That will be followed up with our study of the most specialized nerve cells: the five senses. We will dissect sheep eyes on Wednesday.
During the second half of the class Mrs. Metz and Mrs. Pike introduced the program for which the class will be serving as subjects in a study of on-line course effectiveness with high school students and at the same time obtain HIPPA certification, an importnat aspect to nursing training.
