Today while several students were at RVCC for an introduction to a few aspects of the nursing program there the rest of us spent time setting up and running through the computerized data collection system for breathing. This involved calibrating the equipment used, conducting several student runs of data, and analyzing that information. This was offered as extra credit to those who gave a good effort. Numerous graded papers were returned, and students had some time to work on the online homework assignment about respiratory system disorders due Sunday night. We are headed toward a test on this system next week, and the beginning of the cardiovascular system as well.
