Welcome back from spring break! We began today reflecting on our previous Friday trip to the Mutter Museum. Several students shared interesting reflections. The general feeling seemed to be that this was a worthwhile Anatomy trip. Cat circulation pin tests were returned, so students could see their grades, but that will be delayed until after Wednesday's unit test.
Most of the day was devoted to reviewing for the circulatory system test on Wednesday: Chapters 10 and 11: blood, heart, and blood vessels. some of the review questions will be posted on the Engrade calendar.
The test will contain multiple choice, matching, and an essay, using Quia as we have done in the past. The essay will be the clotting process that was assigned a few weeks ago as a homework assignment, so students should need to just review that thoroughly.
Diagrams to be labeled for the test will be the structures and main blood vessels of the heart, atrial and ventricular systole and diastole on an ECG wave, and specific types of blood cells.
