Today we finished our studies of the heart with a PowerPoint that dealt with aspects such as the heart cycle, the heart's internal conduction system, and heart sounds. We followed this up with a computer lab on ECG of a subject under both rest and stressful conditions.
Students have been reminded of the importance of knowing every aspect of the heart and major blood vessels for an upcoming test. Everyone is looking forward to Wednesday's class when we will look at live goldfish circulation under the microscope.
