The Power Point today was the introduction to the muscular system: an overview of the structure and functions of the system as a whole, as well as the beginning of the microscopic structure of skeletal muscle cells. The lab portion included a drawing of a skeletal muscle cell, and a worksheet of terms that go along with today's Power Point. Students should read this chapter (6) in the textbook thoroughly. Wednesday will include a dissection.
