monday summary

today we enjoyed a guest presentation from "healing the children". healing the children is a non-profit organization that operates a chapter in New Jersey. Guest speakers included the head of the NJ chapter as well as a registered nurse who has traveled to various locations with the organization. the organization provides health care, services, and supplies to those in need domestically and internationally. speakers spoke about several of their experiences and ways in which students can offer support and become involved.
